Crown Chambers Welcomes Sixth Pupillage Cohort
Following our continued growth and the success of our fifth pupillage programme, we’re delighted to welcome our sixth cohort of pupil barristers.
Our two new pupils commence their pupillage this week, working side-by-side with their experienced supervisors and running with various cases. Both of our new pupils will initially focus on either criminal or family law matters.
Meet the Pupil Barristers:
Kirsten Lowes – Before commencing pupillage, Kirsten was a paralegal working closely alongside King’s Counsel at the Crown Court and Court of Appeal assisting in a wide variety of criminal cases. During this time, she honed her skills in case preparation, case law research and client conferencing. Kirsten also has experience as a County Court Clerk observing cases of high complexity with a vast array of advocacy. Kirsten is being supervised by Naomi Madderson KC.
Poppy Walker – Prior to the commencement of pupillage, Poppy successfully completed the Bar Practice Course (LLM) at BPP University, Leeds. She was fortunate to transition directly from the Bar Course into pupillage, enabling her to maintain momentum in her progression towards practice. During the Bar Course, Poppy developed and refined her skills in advocacy and the drafting of legal documents. She looks forward to applying these skills in practice to advance and protect the interests of her clients across a range of legal areas. Poppy is being supervised by David Godfrey.
