Civil Law Barristers
Our civil barristers at Crown Chambers have years of experience dealing with a full range of actions in the County and High Courts. We have a number of Counsel dealing with Small Claims, Fast Track and Multi-Track actions concerning road traffic incidents, personal injury claims, credit hire disputes, contractual disputes, commercial law, chancery matters, public law and employment law. We work principally in Hull, Grimsby and Lincoln but are prepared to travel off-circuit too.
The civil team are known for their down to earth approach and ability to get to grips with complex cases very quickly. The team offers pragmatic and innovative resolutions when necessary and our barristers have a reputation for providing realistic advice and being fearless when it comes to courtroom advocacy. This is demonstrated by the amount of repeat instructions which are received.
We work for all types of client including insurance firms, local government and local authorities. We also offer drafting expertise in a wide variety of areas.
We can cover many hearings at short notice, and turnaround any written advice within 14 days. Shorter timescales can be adhered to if urgent advice is required.
If you seek to instruct one of our members on a private basis then you will be informed of the fee at the outset.
Our civil barristers are happy to travel to solicitors’ offices and clients’ premises, and will arrange out-of-hours conferences. We can accommodate large round-table meetings, and we offer conference rooms for use in mediation or arbitration hearings
