Regulatory Law

Regulatory Law Barristers

Crown Chambers provide advice and robust representation to individuals and businesses who are facing prosecution. We understand the importance of acting promptly and just how damaging a regulatory investigation can be to a business’ finances and reputation.

Our barristers have represented a wide range of bodies and individuals and we have a wealth of experience. Each of our regulatory barristers is a specialist practitioner, so you can guarantee that your case will be handled by a professional with the necessary knowledge and expertise to achieve the outcome that you desire.

The majority of our barristers who represent clients in regulatory cases also provide representation in criminal matters including fraud. Our experience in this area is therefore considerable and if the need arises our barristers can also provide advice in respect of associated criminal investigations.

In addition to representing clients in the criminal courts We also assist and represent clients in professional disciplinary hearings.

Our barristers have experience in the following arenas:

  • Financial regulation and compliance
  • Medical regulation and disciplinary proceedings
  • Sports regulation and discipline
  • Professional regulation and discipline (including accountants, lawyers and members of the Police)
  • Environmental regulation
  • Health & Safety
  • Educational discipline and appeals

We understand that a regulatory investigation can cause devastation and that time is of the essence. We therefore offer a standard 14 day turnaround on any written advice or documentation. If the matter is urgent then our experienced clerks can arrange for advice to be provided without delay, and if required, on the same day.

We understand that there can be significant cost attached to a regulatory investigation and we therefore endeavour to be clear and transparent when it comes to fees at all stages of the investigation.

If you have any queries or would like to make a booking for one of our barristers please contact our clerks on 01482 014658.
