ABOUT REBECCA
Rebecca completed Pupillage at Crown Chambers in 2021. Rebecca represents clients in all areas of public and private family law, including Local Authorities, parents and Children’s Guardians. Rebecca is experienced in handling complex issues in public law proceedings including non-accidental injury, neglect and domestic abuse, as well as developing areas of law including post-adoption contact. Rebecca has a keen interest in this area.
In private law, Rebecca is experienced in representing parents throughout proceedings, from First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointments through to Finding of Fact and final welfare hearings. She has experience of dealing with issues such as parental alienation and domestic abuse including issues of sexual abuse and rape.
Rebecca is also regularly instructed in financial remedy proceedings from first appointments through to final hearing.
Prior to joining chambers, Rebecca undertook voluntary work and work experience in the legal sector, including the Duty Solicitor Housing Scheme in Leeds. Rebecca has won a number of competitions during her studies, including the Julian Linskill prize for performance in criminal evidence at the University of Liverpool, and the BPP excellence scholarship.
