Experienced Barrister joins Crown Chambers’s growing Crime team
Crown Chambers is delighted to welcome Mohammed Rafiq to its growing criminal team. Mohammed is a highly experienced and multi-faceted Barrister who specialises in crime as well as acting in civil disputes, matrimonial and family law, and personal injury.
Mohammed was called to the Bar in 1980 and began practising in 2014 after spending 24 years running his own solicitors’ practices in Leeds, Manchester, and Bradford, where he specialised in criminal and immigration law.
Mohammed has successfully appeared in a number of high-profile criminal cases, including murder, robbery, and sexual offences, as well as civil and family law matters including high-value divorce cases. Mohammed will be taking instructions across Crown Chambers’s various specialisms.
Mohammed speaks several languages including Urdu, Hindu, Punjabi, some Persian and Arabic and some Eastern European languages.
